As to the question about magnetism and computers - obvious cautionary steps should be taken - keeping them 3-4 inches from any sensitive material - however you would have to have some intent on doing damage since computer hard drives are protected from magnetic influence by a material that blocks magnetic force. Be safe and use common sense and you should be able to have fun and de-clutter your desk at the same time. 

Maybe more info than you wanted but the question is serious enough for a detailed response.

		<description>It&#039;s a neat idea, but isn&#039;t it a bit risky to use such strong magnets on a desk where computers might be? Although maybe it&#039;s not that dangerous since the magnets are attracted to each other... hmm wish I knew more physics! haha</description>
